Ears Pierced

The Number one thing Audrey wanted for her birthday was to get her ears pierced.  So the day after her birthday we headed to the jewelry store and got the job done.  She was a little nervous but handled it like a champ.  I think her eyes may have watered a tiny bit but otherwise she was super brave.
I just can't believe she is seven years old.

At seven Audrey
Is still super observant.  I am quite confident that every time we leave church she could tell me what most people were wearing, who has the most kids, what color so and so's hair is and who's kids were screaming during sacrament meeting.  She is always watching and noticing things around her.

Loves all kinds of cheese.  Her favorite foods all center around it.  Macaroni and cheese, pizza, cheeseburgers, etc.

Is really quiet in social situations but the life of the party when she is at home.  I think people are pretty surprised when I tell them that she is one of our louder children because she is so quiet at school and church.

Loves making people laugh.  She prides herself in being funny and it is important to her.

Enjoys dancing very much.  She is constantly working on her stretches and can be seen dancing all around the house.

Everywhere we have moved she seems to gravitate towards one REALLY good friend.  In Idaho it was Olivia and her in Utah it is Scarlett.  We are lucky she has had such good girls to hang out with.

Is really good at making sure any company or visitors are happy.

If super persistent.  If she really wants something or has a question about something she will persist and persist until I answer her.

She doesn't like to be alone.

She doesn't really enjoy movies.  She would prefer to play.

Loves riding her scooter and bike outside.  She is often outside with Lily.

Is a joy to have in our home and we love her to pieces.
Lily decided Grace needed to have some company while playing on the floor.
These girls are begging to hold Grace ALL DAY LONG.  Sometimes I have to give in.  The only time they don't want to hold her is when I need them to.  The only time they want to hold her is when I don't need them to.  Life's dilemmas.
I'm so glad they love her so much.
The girls had their last day of school.  It has been a wonderful year for both of them.

Audrey loved school so much this year she often makes Lily play "school" with her.  This consists of Audrey trying to read Lily a book and getting frustrated that Lily won't sit still the entire time.
Oh this Lily.  She has been so hard on shoes this summer that we have already gone through three pairs.  I'm not sure what she is doing to destroy them so quickly.  I have a hunch it has something to do with her scooter.
It hasn't been a very warm May at all.  We finally got our pool up and running and even though it was a very cold day the girls were bound and determined to get in.  They didn't last long but these are the times we are thankful it is heated.

Grace's Blessing Day

We blessed our sweet Grace Catherine May 17th.  We figured by doing it in May we would for sure have good weather and be able to enjoy our backyard but not so.  It poured rain the entire weekend.  Thankfully, nothing could put a damper on our celebration of this beautiful and sweet addition to our family.
Grace has been the smiliest baby we have ever had.  Bryan blessed her that she would always keep that happy disposition.  I am so thankful for that.  She really has brought such joy to our home and there is something about getting her up in the morning and seeing that giant grin.
I had to take a bunch of pictures before we left for church.  It was a challenge since church is at 9:00AM but I managed to get it done and to get to church on time.  Barely.
 After the blessing.
I am so thankful for Bryan and that he is worthy to give my children blessings and that he is the perfect dad for girls.  He is such a good man.
We had everyone over to our house for nachos afterwards.  This is the first blessing of one of my children that I have had such a big crowd.  We would occasional have a few family members but Ohio was just too long of a trip.  I think we had about 100 people in our house!  It was crazy but so much fun and we felt so much support.
I should say that it is our little family but I suppose it's not so little any more with four children.  I sure love these little girls of mine.
We were able to do a double celebration as it was also little Audrey's birthday!  I felt like it may have gotten overlooked a bit with all of the festivities but she seemed happy to have so many people around her and Bryan went and got her a cookie cake for the celebration.
It was also my twin nephews' birthday!  It was a day for celebrating that's for sure!
Audrey got to open some presents and was surrounded by all of her cute cousins.

We sure adore this precious baby and I just love blessing days.  I truly feel like these special spirits are sent to me from Heavenly Father and I am so thankful I get to be their mom.
