We had weeks of subzero temperatures in January.
I mean the temperature literally didn't get above ten degrees. Absolutely freezing. So much snow. So very very cold.
And then thankfully we left it all behind to take a visit to the happiest place on earth! And what a happy time it was. So nice to take a break from the daily grind and enjoy some better weather.
It was so fun to be there with my entire family. The cousins just love each other which makes everything even more magical.
One of our favorite things is to fill up an entire boat on Pirates of the Caribbean and sing as loudly as we can. Lily wasn't too sure about the drops. Luckily there were a few doggies on the ride that helped her forget her terror. Yo HO Yo HO a pirates life for me...
Audrey and Julia braved Splash Mountain.
They were a little bit terrified the first time. Julia and Hanky's face make me laugh so hard in this photo. Thankfully Julia got over her terror and went on this ride more than any other. It got a little chilly later in the week and there were no lines. She could have gone on it a million times.
Here she is for round two with Nana.
Bryan and I got a picture going on Indiana Jones.
Does Bryan look comfortable? I can assure that three do not fit easily in these rockets.
Julia and her BFF cousin Brookie.
Some of the group. Jody managed to cram several kids on that stroller. It was a life saver.
Lily liked the rides more and more as time went on. It was fun to see her reactions to things.
Audrey insisted on doing this ride with Jody.
Hanky and Dylan. We had so much fun this day.
We talked Julia into the Tower of Terror. She was really nervous and said the lame video they showed at the beginning of the ride is what scared her the most. I do think she enjoyed it in the end and was really excited to tell her friend Isaac all about it.
They survived!
We found Pluto.
In line for the Cars ride. It was awesome!
Could this little James be any cuter?
This really was such a fun ride. We could have gone on it a million times but the line for just the fast pass was usually over an hour. We were lucky to go on it once! My hair was all over the place.
Lily was such a trooper for the entire trip.
Outside of Carsland. It was so fun and looked just like the movie. It was also the most crowded area of the park.
We went and had breakfast at the Storyteller's Cafe. They did a little dance and music number with the kids. They all looked so great in their red shirts.
Julia loves loves loves her Papa. She wouldn't sit by anyone else.
All of us enjoying the delicious breakfast. The highlight is when they brought us a big plate of mickey mouse waffles. Yummmm.
Posing with Chip. These girls just had the time of his life.
Lily was very fascinated with the characters. She loved them until they came too close. Then she started to worry a little bit.
Some more dancing.
The group photo. Our waiter decided to jump in the action.
In Mickey Mouse's house.
It's a Small World was all decorated for Christmas still. It was really pretty. This is Bryan's most hated ride. By far. He may or may not have gotten angry when we decided to go on it.
We met Mickey! Lily wanted his nose.
I got to spend an afternoon with just Julia. We went on tons of rides.
Overall it was such a wonderful trip. No complaints other than pure exhaustion! Thank you Nana and Papa for making all of this possible. And thank you to family for being so much fun. It really is one of the happiest places on earth.

That was a fun trip!! We loved it and still talk about it all the time. Camille thinks she should have a mulligan. Notice she wasn't in too many of the pictures. Bryan's Small World Massacre will live in infamy for a long time. We loved being with you guys.
It looks like so much fun!! Makes me want to go to Disneyland again soon!
Looks like a blast! So glad you were able to go.
